Lindsey Wise.

Principal Of West End MT

Lindsey started her professional career when she was 12 playing the role of ballet dancer – Emma in the three year BBC children’s television series “The Biz”

She won the “All England Young Dancer Of The Year” at Sadler‘s Wells when she was 16 just before she started training at Laine Theatre Arts on a full scholarship and bursery from Cameron Mackintosh.

Upon graduating and still a teenager, she went straight into Cats The Musical playing the role of Jemima and understudying Victoria (White Cat)

Following this she was cast by Dame Gillian Lynne in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The London Palladium and was then lucky enough to work with this world renowned choreographer for the third time on Phantom Of The Opera in which she played the role of Meg Giry.

Other roles include Kim in Showboat at The Royal Albert Hall alongside John Owen Jones , Iris in Fame, lead dancer in Kiss Me Kate, Ballet ensemble in On Your Toes with Adam Cooper and Santa Claus the Musical original cast playing the part of Anna alongside Gary Wilmot and Anita Dobson.

Lindsey’s portrayal of “Louise” in Carousel at The West End’s Savoy Theatre won her critical acclaim for the dream ballet (choreographed by Adam Cooper) with Benedict Nightingale from The Times declaring her performance as “The Evenings Highlight” and Kate Kellaway from The Guardian calling her “Spellbinding”

Nathaniel Morrison.

Patron

Credits include: Moulin Rouge (West End), Waitress (West End), Jersey Boys (West End),  Five Guys Named Moe (West End), Porgy and Bess (West End), Hairspray (UK Tour), Sister Act (West End).

Nathaniel was previously a television judge on the BBC’s All Together Now. He is also the director of the West End Gospel Choir!

Lizzie Bea.

Singing Coach

Credits include:  Sister Mary Roberts in Sister Act (West End), Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (West End), Martha Dunnstock in Heathers (West End), Pat in Kinky Boots (UK tour).

Archie McMorran.

Musical Director

Archie is a musical director, composer, pianist and orchestrator with extensvie credits in the West End.
Credits are as follows: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels starring Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser (West End), Carousel starring Jamie Muscato at the Royal Festival Hall, in July 2024, Hello, Dolly! starring Imedla Staunton at the London Palladium in Jul 2024.

Christian Durham.

Acting Coach

Christian is a freelance director working in both plays and musicals. 

Directing credits include: Fly More Than You Fall starring Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman), Zorro – the musical in London and Manchester, Breaking The Code at the Salisbury Playhouse, both of which transfered to London in 2021/22, Café Society Swing at Stratford East Theatre Royal, Quaint Honour at the Finborough – Offie nomination), Children of Eden and Spend Spend Spend at the Union Theatre (double Offie nominations).

He directed Ute Lemper in Stuttgart, Debbie Does Dallas at the Udderbelly, Edinburgh Fringe (Best Musical production nomination – MTM awards) and the critically acclaimed national tour of Boy George’s Taboo (Best Musical winner, Manchester Evening News Awards).

Christian’s Associate Director work has included Chicago & Zorro (West End), The Grinch, King Lear, Guys and Dolls, The King and I & The New Statesman (UK National Tours).

Christian is also the International Staging Director of Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Europe, Russia & Japan).

Mathew Craig.

Acting Coach

Credits include: Becoming Nancy (Birmingham Rep), Crazy For You (West End), The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole (Menier Chocolate Factory), Blood Brothers (UK Tour), Showboat (West End), Beauty and the Beast (UK Tour), Miss Saigon (UK Tour), We Will Rock You (West End).

For television, Mathew has appeared in several shows for the BBC, notably Kombat Opera-Spouse Change (Avalon/BBC)

Marina Tavolieri.

Craig Turbyfield.

Dance Coach

Craig trained at the Royal Ballet School and London Studio Centre.
His professional West End and UK and International theatre credits include: ‘Hello, Dolly!’ ‘The King & I’, ‘Cats’, ‘Singing’ In The Rain’, ‘One Touch Of Venus’, ‘On Your Toes’, West Side Story’, ‘Fame’ and ‘Peter Pan The Musical’.He has Choreographed Pantomimes for Qdos Entertainment, The Arts House Stratford-Upon-Avon, & Chiswick House and Gardens. He was also choreographer on ‘Monster Raving Loony’ for Theatre Royal Plymouth and Soho Theatre, London, & and most recently choreographer on ‘Stormy’, the Life of Lena Horne, London & UK Tour. Craig is also a Silver Medalist Diver representing Team GB at the World Masters Championships, Budapest 2017, and European Masters Championships, London 2016

Lucy-Mae Beacock.

Lucy-Mae, a former student of West End MT, has been a professional actor since her early days having played the role of Matilda in the West End! Her other credits include:

Lucy-Mae currently works at Chickenshed Theatre Company where she has been an active member for 17 years, from the age of 6. She now works in their young company, helping to lead and create theatre. She has also performed in their annual Christmas show for the last 15 years and this year has not only performed as a BSL signer in the shows, but has also helped to create for the performance as well.

Hayley Huggett.

Talent Coordinator

Hayley, a former student of West End MT, holds a degree in Musical Theatre from Trinity Laban, and is currently studying part-time at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

With over seven years of teaching and facilitating experience across London, she has recently become a workshop facilitator at the Baked Bean Charity, facilitating music, dance and drama workshops and working on professional productions with adults with learning disabilities.

Hayley’s performing credits include The West End Proms, Dancing for Rita Ora at Soccer Aid, Godspell at the Actors Church, and playing Alex the Lion in Madagascar for a Theatre in Education primary school tour. Producing credits include: The Adventures of Dotty the Dalmatian for Children’s Hospices and Songs for a Wish at the Other Palace.

Lauren Black.

Talent Coordinator & Admin Assistant

Lauren is a former West End MT student and has recently graduated from The London School of Musical Theatre.

Credits whilst training include: Ensemble/Vocal Captain in ‘Sweeney Todd’, featured soloist in workshops of ‘Made in Dagenham’, ‘Martin Guerre’ and ‘Spring Awakening’.

Alongside auditioning, Lauren teaches Musical Theatre as well as performing both as a vocalist and trumpeter in Jazz bands! Lauren is thrilled to be back at West End MT, surrounded by so many incredible people.

Gabe Manthorp .

Finance and Operations Director

Having originally trained at Rose Bruford College, Institut Del Teatre, and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Gabe has spent over a decade as a leader in Further and Higher Education and the creative industries. 

Gabe is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Member of the Institute of Leadership, currently working as Assistant Principal for Performance, Quality, and Innovation at United Colleges Group, alongside freelance and consultancy work as a Quality and Standards Assessor for the Office for Students, and External Examiner for a range of highly regarded theatre and performing arts degrees across the UK. 

Gabe has worked with West End MT as a consultant and advisor on curriculum, quality, finance, and operations since 2019.
